This is a very difficult commentary to write because it pertains to the most complex team in the league: The Bulls.  This team entered the season with the confidence of winning the league's title and everybody felt their presence.  There was an expectation, throughout the league, that the Bulls would be better than ever until the players' commitment began to diminish.  For most of the season, I have attempted to give them some type of encouragement and or constructive criticism through my commentaries, but nothing worked.  Though they are losing games, no one has given up on the Red and White.  We still expect them to play hard and possibly win every game they enter, but the group of players are proving us wrong.  With the recent suspension of James Daniels, their conversion to officiating, and complete lack of game management - the Bulls are failing themselves.  This article's images were taken on 26 May when the Bulls loss to the Nets 80 - 65.

On 20 June 2016, the Nets and Bulls returned to North Highland Assembly of God's Gymnasium for another attempt to win.  The fans came out to show their support as the players warmed up for a new game.  The Nets' starting players were:  #21 Keith LaFavor, #25 Trea Tells, #42 Tony Reese, #19 Santonio Howard, and #32 Willie Walker.  The Bulls' starting players were:  #22 James Dix, #45 Jimmy Foster, #33 Ian Trowers, #3 Phillip Whittington, and #28 Bryant Adams.

The game started with the Bulls winning the jump ball that resulted in a turnover.  Both teams were very active with the ball - getting six players into the scoring book.  The Bulls were clicking by taking an eight point lead (14 - 6) with 13:49 remaining in the first half, however, the Nets would catch up and take a 16 - 14 point lead.  Trea Tells (#25) led the Nets with 11 points and Tony Reese (#42) added 6 points.  The Bulls scored on four 3-pointers.  They were led, in scoring, by James Dix (#22) with 11 points.  Bernard Jones (#11) added 6 points (two 3-pointers) and Jimmy Foster (#45) added 8 points (two 3-pointers).  The Nets committed four team fouls and the Bulls committed three team fouls.  The Bulls finished the first half with a 33 - 28 point lead over the Nets.

The second half was a low for both teams.  The Nets made a strong effort to play team ball by communicating with each other.  Five Nets were involved in the scoring category.  Though the Nets stumbled on offense, they made up for it on defense with steals and outlet passes that produced easy layups.  It was disappointing to watch the Bulls', Jimmy Foster (#45), receive ball after ball with no thought of passing to an open teammate.  James Harden cannot do it and neither can Jimmy Foster.  You cannot win a battle by yourself.  It was amazing to watch him, throughout the season, shoot without any concern for the team.  It does not matter if one or three players are defending his shot, he will find a way to let it fly.  He scored 11 of the team's 17 second half points and everybody watched and accepted the inevitable.  We are not going to discuss defense.  The Bulls dropped from a 33-point first half score to an embarrassing 17-point second half.  I am convinced that the Bulls have lost their ability to play smart basketball.  They need a player or coach to join the team and put the players in the right position and manage the out of control shooting.

Though the Nets won the game, they only scored 26 second half points.  This Nets is a dynamite team, but they spend too much time fighting for time on the floor.  The roster is small enough for each player to receive sufficient time.  The pursuit for stardom and unwillingness to come out of the game, for a substitution is not to their advantage though they have a 12 - 4 record.

The Nets' scorers were:  #42 Tony Reese with 15 points, #25 Trea Tells with 11 points, #32 Willie Walker with 10 points, #21 Keith LaFavor with 6 points, #10 Santonio Howard with 6 points, and #48 Rodney Patrick with 6 points.

The Bulls' scorers were:  #45 Jimmy Foster with 20 points, #22 James Dix with 13 points, #3 Phillip Whittington with 7 points, #11 Bernard Jones with 6 points, #10 Desi Johnson with 2 points, and #33 Ian Trowers with 2 points.
