The Hawks and Kingdom Ballers played the second and last game of the day on 18 June 2016.  The Hawks reported to send a serious message to the Kingdom Ballers by having Quentin Leonard (#24) in the lineup.  I believe that caused panic for those Kingdom Ballers who have struggled to win games during past years.  Frank Wilcox (#21), the captain of the team, walked in with his chest sticking out and ready to roll.  The Kingdom Ballers were off their game from identifying their lineup to properly filling out the scoring book.  That lack of concentration extended to the basketball court.

The game started with the Hawks winning the tip-off and having the ball to get stuck between the rim and backboard for a jump ball.  Possession shifted to the Kingdom Ballers for a quick turnover.  The Hawks did not waste anytime going after the new and improved Kingdom Ballers.  Seven Hawks scored in the first half.  Quentin Leonard #24 led his team with 11 points - accompanied by 9 points from Kenyatta Hardge (#11).  Ernest Adams was active around the boards that allowed him to score 6 points.  The Kingdom Ballers were left leaning on the shoulders of Wason Davis (#11) with 19 points and Tony Campbell (#24) with 11 points.  Only one additional Kingdom Baller scored with 3 points.  Though seven Hawks scored, they only led by 37 - 33 to end the first half.  The Hawks' largest lead was 11 points which was 32 - 23 at 4:01 of the first half.  The Hawks committed four team fouls and the Kingdom Ballers committed six team fouls.

Within four minutes of the second half, the Hawks increased their lead from 37 - 33 to 51 - 36 and they were not slowing down.  The Kingdom Ballers just did not have the firepower or confidence to fight back without the support of Willie Tennyson, Antonio Harris, and Willie Haynes.  That does not mean that the other players did not want to win.  That would be an inaccurate statement.  It was clear that the Kingdom Ballers lacked interior defense against layups without their true forward and center.  Tony Campbell was left holding the burden, during the second half, with 16 points.  Wason Davis was held to 4 points and Shederal Hughes squeezed in 7 points.  The Hawks were flying and swarming over the Kingdom Ballers.  By 10:05, the Hawks had moved their lead to 62 - 49 with no slowing down in-sight.  They sported a 78 - 56 lead with 4:46 left in the game and 82 - 65 with 2:52 remaining in the game.  Yesterday was the Hawks' day and there was nothing the Kingdom Ballers could to do to stop the bleeding.  Seven Hawks scored in the second half, as well, with #24 Quentin Leonard scoring 16 points.  The Hawks defeated the Kingdom Ballers 92 - 67.

The scorers, for the Hawks, were:  #24 Quentin "Quick" Leonard with 27 points, #11 Kenyatta Hardge with 18 points, #34 Ernest Adams with 12 points, #0 Michael Smith with 12 points, #25 Roderick Williams with 10 points, #21 Frank Wilcox with 9 points, and #23 Yohance Thompson with 4 points.

The scorers, for the Kingdom Ballers, were:  #24 Tony Campbell with 27 points, #11 Wason Davis with 23 points, #96 Shederal Hughes with 10 points, #3 Christopher Mathis with 5 points, and #2 Darrell Sumbry with 2 points.
