The headline photo of the Kingdom Ballers in their huddle best illustrate where they are right now, as a team.  They are committed to improving and winning.  Right now, they are doing both.  The Kingdom Ballers have gone from a record of 0 - 9 to 5 - 10 in six games.  They have won five of their last six games.

Last evening, 16 June 2016, they accepted another test from the struggling Bulls.  The Bulls have been on a losing skid that has opened up concern for themselves and for every team in the league.  We are used to watching them win as well as lose, but recently they have only been on the losing end of every game.

The Kingdom Ballers and Bulls played the first game of the evening at 7:00 p.m..  The starting players for the Kingdom Ballers were: #24 Tony Campbell, #3 Christopher Mathis, #0 Willie Tennyson, #96 Shederal Hughes, and #33 Tony McCommon.  The starting players for the Bulls were:  #22 James Dix, #33 Ian Trowers, #3 Phillip Whittington, #45 Jimmy Foster, and #34 Leo Preyer.

The game started with the Kingdom Ballers winning the tipoff and scoring, but the Bulls answered with a stampede.  Phillip Whittington (#3) and James Dix (#22) fired back giving the Bulls a 14 - 6 lead with 14:00 remaining in the first half.  The Kingdom Ballers dug in and clawed their way back to tie the score at 20.  The Bulls took another lead at 23, lost it at 27, and regained it at the end of the half with a 34 - 33 lead.  The Bulls scored on six 3-pointers (two from James Dix and four from Phillip Whittington).  James Dix scored 10 first half points and Phillip Whittington scored 16.  The Kingdom Ballers scored on five 3-point shots (four coming from Tony Campbell).  Campbell scored 22 first half points for the trailing Kingdom Ballers.  The Kingdom Ballers committed four team fouls and the Bulls committed three team fouls.

The second half fell apart for the Bulls as the Kingdom Balls began to bring things together.  Every player owned responsibility for their respective positions and remained discipline.  That kind of teamwork opened up the basket for Tony Campbell to lead the Kingdom Ballers with 15 more points.  Phillip Whittington and James Dix led the Bulls with six points, each, during the second half.  The Bulls dropped to 23 points compared to a 34 point first half total.  The Kingdom Ballers closed the deal with 38 points in the second half.  The Kingdom Ballers committed six team fouls and the Bulls committed five team fouls.

The scorers for the Kingdom Ballers were:  #24 Tony Campbell with 37 points, #96 Shederal Hughes with 14 points, #0 Willie Tennyson with 6 points, #31 Willie Haynes with 6 points, #33 Tony McCommon with 4 points, and #22 Antonio Harris with 4 points.

The scorers for the Bulls were:  #3 Phillip Whittington with 22 points, #22 James Dix with 16 points, #23 Bernard Adams with 6 points, #33 Ian Trowers with 6 points, #45 Jimmy Foster with 4 points, and #11 Bernard Jones with 3 points.
