On 7 May 2016, the Hawks pecked on the the Kingdom Ballers so vigorously until the Kingdom Ballers tapped out and screamed "Just Shoot It!" That was the "Shout Heard Around The Gym" at North Highland Assembly of God Church gymnasium. Quentin Leonard and the rest of the Hawks reported with victory on their minds and they played with the intensity to match the attitude.

The first half was very close with both teams scoring from 3-point range keeping the scores close. Both teams scored 24 points from eight made shots beyond the arc. For the Hawks, Kevin Douglas (#4) and Quentin Leonard (#24) contributed three 3-pointers, each, with Kenyatta Hardge (#11) adding two more. For the Kingdom Ballers, both Willie Haynes (#31) and (#96) Shederah Hughes launched three 3-pointers with #33 Tony McCollum contributing with two more. The difference came from Hawks', Ernest Adams (#34), collecting 10 points from rebounds and putbacks. The Hawks closed out the first half with a 45 - 35 point lead.

The second half was a different game. The Hawks swooped down and pecked on the Kingdom Ballers with so many baskets it caused one of the Kingdom Ballers to stop running down the court, on offense, to tell his teammate to "Just Shoot It!" That became the battle cry of the afternoon. The Kingdom Ballers spent most of the second half "Just Shooting It!" Unfortunately, their game motto only produced 30 points. While the Kingdom Ballers were "Just Shooting It!" and missing, the Hawks were flying over and dropping basketballs through the nets from all over the court. Leonard, Douglas, Williams, Adams, and Hardge dropped 51 points down on the struggling Kingdom Ballers. Quentin Leonard led the Hawks with 19 second half points. Shederah Hughes led the Kingdom Ballers with 11 second half points.

The Hawks defeated the Kingdom Ballers 96 - 65.

The scorers for the Hawks were: #24 Quentin Leonard with 34 points, #4 Kevin Douglas with 21, #34 Ernest Adams with 15, #11 Keyatta Hardge with 14, and #25 Roderick Williams with 12 points.

The scorers for the Kingdom Ballers were: #96 Shederah Hughes with 22 points, #31 Willie Haynes with 20, #33 Tony McCommons with 10, #11 Wason Davis with 7, #2 Darrell Sumbry with 4, and #22 Antonio Harris with 2 points.
