The NHA Hawks took the first and second half away from the Celtics on 30 April 2016.  The Hawks reported with Quentin Leonard and the Celtics reported without Jerel Jackson and Steve Woodson.  I mentioned this because the Hawks came to win.  There is no question that the Celtics came to win, also.

During the first, the Hawks' Ernest Adams (#34), Kenyatta Hardge (#11, and Quentin Leonard (#24) were on a mission to breakdown the defense of the Celtics by scoring inside and outside.  They were supported by (#25) Roderick Williams and (#21) Frank Wilcox.  The Celtics were scoring because that is what they do.  They were led by (#23) Tim Sanks, (#1) Al Wilson, #30 Ralph Mathews, and (#8) Jerald Mahone.  The first half ended with the Hawks 43 and the Celtics 35.  The Hawks committed three team fouls and the Celtics committed four.

The Celtics made their push, in the second half, by outscoring the Hawks 36 - 31, but the Hawks were not willing to give up the game to a loss.  The Celtics' Tim Sanks, Chris None, Ralph Mathews, and Juan Vasquez raised the heat, but they were stopped at 71.  The Hawks' Michael Smith, Ernest Adams, Kenyatta Hardge, and Quentin Leonard were not about to hand this game over to the Celtics.  The Hawks defeated the Celtics 74 - 71.

The scorers for the Hawks were:  #24 Quentin Leonard with 27 points, #11 Kenyatta Hardge with 16, #34 Ernest Adams with 13, #25 Roderick Williams with 8, #0 Michael Smith with 7, and #21 Frank Wilcox with 3 points.

The scorers for the Celtics were:  #30 Ralph Mathews with 19 points, #23 Tim Sanks with 17, #15 Christopher None with 12, #22 Juan Vasquez 11, #1 Al Wilson with 6, and #8 Jerald Mahone with 6 points.
