Teriq Jackson (#12), the towering center for the Bombers, has been selected to be the league's first NOSBL Rookie of the Season on 2 September 2017. He won the selection over four outstanding contenders: Willie Carter, Jr. (Nets), Jason Carmona (Bulls), Myron Clayton (Nets), and Benjamin White (Nets).

The league's commissioner refers to Jackson as "The 8th Wonder of the World" during pregame announcements. Jackson's quiet demeanor accepts the nickname with a smile and nod of approval. As you can see, by his numbers, he is a very active "Big Man". Jackson knows basketball and possesses a nice jumpshot from short range to long range. He is a consistent and dependable teammate.
