The tip-off for game three of the National Old School Basketball League® Finals XVII is set to commence at North Highland Assembly of God's Church Gymnasium on Thursday - 7:30 P.M.  The 76ers took game one with a 97 - 79 exhibition show of three-point scoring and the Celtics responded by taking game two with a strategic attack that produced an 86 - 72 victory.

Having the Celtics and 76ers in the Finals, to renew their championship rivalry, is a big enough story of its own, but the added dimension of Tim Sanks leaving the Celtics to eventually join the 76ers is definitely another story.  Following the Celtics capture of NOSBL XVI Championship Title, Tim Sanks vowed to leave the Celtics to build his own "All-Star Team" in pursuit of winning his first NOSBL Finals Most Valuable Player Award.  The "All-Star Team" did not materialize, but Sanks' promise to leave the Celtics landed him on the 76ers' team (the Celtics' archenemy (on the basketball court, only)).  With all that stated, the "variables of competition" is set:  1) Tim Sanks vs. Celtics, 2) Celtics vs. 76ers, 3) Celtics vs. Tim Sanks, 4) 76ers vs. Celtics, and 5) Eastern Division vs. Western Division.  We are going to see a "Battle of the Champions" and end the evening with one of the aforementioned variables surfacing with the National Old School Basketball League® Championship Title and Finals' Most Valuable Player.

I look forward to seeing you there and thank you for your support.
