The game between the NHA Hawks and Bombers was decided following 16 lead changes and 10 tied scores.  The Hawks' Kenyatta Hardge, Ernest Adams, Frank Wilcox, Nick Royal, and Shaun Jenkins accumulated 29 rebounds, 5 steals, 11 assists, and 1 blocked shot.  The Bombers put up a serious challenge with 28 rebounds, 8 steals, and 18 assists.  The Hawks led at the end of both halves:  39 - 38 after the first half and 38 - 33 at the end of the second half/game.  The Hawks defeated the Bombers 77 - 71.  Though Cleotis Brown (#32) put on a heroic performance, for the Bombers, with 33 points, 13 rebounds, 1 steal, and 4 assists, it was not enough to keep the Hawks tenacious will to win.  Four out the Hawks' five players scored in double-figures.  Kenyatta Hardge (#15) collected 12 rebounds, 1 steal, and 4 assists.  Nick Royal (#44) collected 5 rebounds, 1 steal, 4 assists, and 1 block.  Ernest Adams (#34) accumulated 9 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 assist.  The Bombers showed frustration due to perceived disparities that led to the Bombers having 16 fouls versus six (6) for the Hawks.  Their frustration became a distraction while playing against the league's best team.  They must stay focused as they prepare to enter the playoffs.
