On 21 January 2017, the Kingdom Ballers defeated the Nets 51 - 40 to end their regular season with a 9 - 12 record as they prepare for the playoffs. The Kingdom Ballers accumulated 37 rebounds, 11 steals, 11 assists, and 3 blocks. The Nets accumulated 35 rebounds, 5 steals, 9 assists, and 1 block. Santonio Howard (#32) grabbed 11 rebounds and Lamont Shuford (#11) added 15 to lead the team.
It is time for both teams to study the statistics of their teammates and analyze their strengths and weaknesses. The first half ended with the Kingdom Ballers 28 and the Nets 18. The second half raised its ugly head because the Kingdom Ballers failed to match their first half scoring with 23 points. The Nets raised their second half scoring to 22 points. I would like to see both teams work on their substitutions and matchups. It is important to play, but it is more important to keep players matched up to be competitive.
