On Saturday afternoon, 19 November 2016, we (the fans) got to watch the Bulls unravel during their battle against the Celtics.  They were in disagreement on whether they could effectively play man-to-man defense or which combination of players (by substitution) should be on the floor together and much more.  All of that was caused by the assault they received from Steve Woodson, Jerel Jackson, and the rest of the Celtics.  I truly believe that Steve Woodson has become the most impactful center, in the league, and the statistics support my observation.  Woodson is a standalone giant who is constantly battling two to three "Bigs" from each set of opponents.  He works his magic by rebounding, deterring/blocking shots, and scoring with minimal to no rest.  He can stretch his defender out past the the 3-point line as well as post and score under the basket.  Against the Bulls, Woodson scored eight (8) points from under the basket and 12 points from beyond the arc.

When you assess the play of Woodson and share that with the most accurate 3-point shooter, Jerel Jackson, doors are open for the rest of the team to perform at a high level of proficiency.  Yesterday, Jackson (#24), scored 15 points from five (5) 3-pointers.  The team, led by Al Wilson, added three new players (Ralph Matthews, Jerald Mahone, and James Daniels) who are settling into the scheme and strategies of the Celtics and the comfort of playing with the team's ball handling magician - Christopher None (#15).

The Celtics won the tip and scored first with a midrange shot from Christopher None.  The Bulls' Ian Trowers (#33) responded with two points to tie the score.  The Bulls called two time outs, 34 seconds apart, after falling behind 18 - 8.  That was the first sign of frustration exhibited from the coach.  The Celtics rolled over the Bulls 51 - 22 to close out the first half.

The second half did not produce much more excitement because the Celtics established a 30-point lead, midway into the half, causing the officials to activate the "Mercy Rule" that shortened the time on the clock from 10-minutes to 5-minutes.  The Celtics scored 17 points and the Bulls scored 16.  The Celtics scored 30 points from 2-point shots and 36 points from 3-point shots.  The Bulls scored 22 points from 2-point shots and 15 points from 3-point shots.  Free throws were held to a measly 2-points, for the Celtics, and 1-point for the Bulls.  The Celtics defeated the Bulls 68 - 38.

The scorers for the Bulls were:  (#33) Ian Trowers with 8 points, (#45) Navarro Davis with 11 points, (#24) Elliot Reid with 7 points, (#10) Desi Johnson with 6 points, (#8) Troy McBride with 3 points, and (#11) Bernard Jones with 3 points.

The scorers for the Celtics were: (#24) Jerel Jackson with 19 points, (#2) Steve Woodson with 20 points, (#15) Christopher None is 4 points, (#1) Al Wilson with 7 points, (#00) Ralph Mathews with 10 points, and (#20) James Daniels with 8 points,
