Today, 5 November 2016, the NHA Hawks and Bulls reported to North Highland Assembly of God's Church Gymnasium for another day of competition and we were not disappointed in their commitment to play hard and possibly win.

The Bulls received the first possession, but did not score. After the Hawks scored the games first two points, both teams swapped leads five times and tied once at the score of 10. The Hawks were led by (#3) Quentin Leonard with 22 points and was accompanied by (#12) Ernest Adams with six (6) points, (#10) Kevin Douglas with 10 points, (#0) Nick Royal with 11 points, and (#14) Shaun Jenkins with six (6) points. They played together to score 55 first half points. The Bulls were led by (#8) Troy McBride with 19 points. He was accompanied by (#45) Navarro Davis with eight (8) points, (#11) Bernard Jones with 12 points, and (#34) Leo Preyer with one (1) points. The Bulls scored 40 points to closeout the first half. It was a pretty clean game because the Bulls committed four team fouls and the Hawks committed only one. The first half ended with the Hawks leading the Bulls 55 - 40.

The second half was full of excitement as the Bulls and Hawks almost played even basketball by scoring 39 and 37 points, respectively. The Bulls, Navarro Davis, picked up the challenge by scoring 19 individual points while his teammates were left to add 18 points. The Hawks distributed the ball and scoring more effectively. Kevin Douglas (#10) led the Hawks with 13 points with his teammates contributing 26 points. The Hawks defeated the Bulls 94 - 77 to remain undefeated.

The scorers for the Bulls were: (#34) Leo Preyer with 4 points, (#33) Ian Trowers with 2 points, (#45) Navarro Davis with 27 points, (#8) Troy McBride with 22 points, (#11) Bernard Jones with 15 points, and (#10) Desi Johnson with 7 points.

The scorers for the Hawks were: (#12) Ernest Adams with 11 points, (#10) Kevin Douglas with 23 points, (#15) Kenyatta Hardge with 5 points, (#0) Nick Royal with 16 points, (#14) Shaun Jenkins with 9 points, and (#3) Quentin Leonard with 30 points.
